Maskbreak is made by Sentinel Edge Networks LTD, a company registered in England & Wales. It makes one product: an API that tells your server whether a visitor is on a VPN, a proxy or Tor (naming the service when known), or is a bot or a fake browser.

Articles on the blog are signed by the founder. Maskbreak Research is the company byline for pages published in Maskbreak’s name rather than signed by a person. There is no separate research team: the founder runs the research.
Facts about other vendors are read on their own pages and dated. A live test says what was tested and what fired, never a detection rate. To report a mistake, send the URL through the contact form.
