Looking up an arbitrary IP (this box, and the /v1/lookup API) uses network-reputation data — datacenter ranges, Tor exit lists, and ASN signals — so it reliably flags datacenter and Tor traffic; residential proxies that present as ordinary home connections are the hardest category and are best caught on a live session, not an IP-only lookup. Treat any single verdict as one risk input, validated against your own traffic.
